In my personal experience (like all our songs) life in the "gig-economy" isn't fun. More and more jobs are being moved to Labor Hire companies who treat their workers like shit, expect you to work only for them and will blacklist you if you get work through another company. I've been told by several places I can't get a full time job as that would break the contract they have with the labour hire company so I have to stay a temp worker.
It's a disgrace that we are treated like that, we want real jobs with real protections.
